To receive the checking bonus: 1) Open a new Chase Total Checking® or Chase Premier Plus CheckingSM account, which is subject to approval; 2) Deposit $25 or more at account opening; AND 3) Have your direct deposit made to this account within 60 days of account opening. Your direct deposit needs to be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. After you have completed all the above checking requirements, we’ll deposit the bonus in your new account within 10 business days.
I’m ready to open my savings account. What are the requirements to get my bonus?
To receive the savings bonus: 1) Open a new Chase SavingsSM account, which is subject to approval; 2) Deposit the amount listed on your offer or more in new money into the new savings account within 10 business days of account opening; AND 3) Maintain at least the amount listed on your offer as your balance for 90 days from the date of deposit. The new money cannot be funds held by Chase or its affiliates. After you have completed all the above savings requirements, we’ll deposit the bonus in your new account within 10 business days.
To get my checking account bonus, I need to make a direct deposit. What qualifies as a direct deposit?
Direct deposit is an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. Depositing a check in branch or through the Chase Mobile® app is not considered a direct deposit.
I just opened an account but forgot to bring my coupon. Can I still take advantage of this offer?
It’s possible. If you bring the coupon into the branch within 21 days of opening your account, you can still take advantage of the offer.

For a personal account: We will need your name, residential address, date of birth and your Social Security number, driver’s license or other identifying documents.

How do I set up direct deposit?
Complete the Direct Deposit form and deliver it and a voided check to your company's payroll department. The information you'll need to provide is your employer or depositor's name and address, your employee ID or account number with the depositor, your account number and routing/ABA number. If you're eligible, your employer will deposit your paycheck directly into your account. You can confirm the deposit each pay cycle by logging on to Chase OnlineSM or viewing your account statement. If you have another type of income, please complete this form. If you have a government check, visit your agency's website to get started.

I received my bonus! Is it taxable?
Your bonus is considered interest and would be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable). To understand the taxability of that interest, please consult your personal tax advisor or the IRS.
What to do if you forgot your offer
