How do I know if I am eligible for the referral bonus?

The referral bonus offer is available to eligible personal checking account holders approximately 30 days after account opening. Eligible personal checking account types include: Chase Total Checking^®, Chase College Checking^SM, Chase Premier Plus Checking^SM, Chase Sapphire^SM Checking, Chase Private Client Checking^SM, and Chase Secure Banking^SM.

Employees of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and its affiliates are not eligible for the Refer-A-Friend program.
How do I refer my friends via my personalized link?

Ensure you click the "Copy link" button and share your unique URL with friends. Your friends must apply via the link you provide them. If the link is copied incorrectly, you will not receive credit for the referral. By sending this link via text message, you confirm you have consent to send text messages to each recipient.
How many friends can I refer?

You can refer as many friends as you want during the referral period. You are eligible to receive a $50 bonus for each referral who opens a qualifying checking account (up to 10 referrals – total of $500) in a calendar year.
Will Chase tell me when my friends open an account?

No. Due to the confidential nature of the process, we cannot disclose information about qualifying accounts opened by the friends you invite.
If my friend opens an account another way, will I receive a bonus for the invitation?

No. Your friend MUST use the personalized link you provide them in order for you to receive a bonus.
How much can I earn through this promotion?

You are eligible to receive a $50 bonus for each referral who opens a qualifying checking account (up to 10 referrals – total of $500) in a calendar year. We may provide you with future opportunities to earn bonuses by referring your friends to Chase.
When will I receive my bonus?

After your referred family and friends have opened their qualifying Chase checking account, we'll deposit the $50 bonus into your primary checking account within 30 days, provided both the customer and friend accounts are not closed or restricted at the time of payout.
How will I know that I received my bonus?

Your bonus will appear in your Chase checking account. It will be listed as a "$50 Refer a Friend bonus".
